SUMMARY:

Our Client is seeking an experienced MEDIA SALES PROJECT MANAGER to assist with identifying/acquiring new clients and maintaining a good working relationship with new and existing contacts. Since it also includes the role of Project Manager, you will be responsible for project objectives by planning project activities, evaluating implementation and progress of project.
The candidate must be well-groomed, well-spoken, approachable, helpful, and project a professional image.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Deliver convincing business presentations and increase market share by identifying potential clients and business opportunities and to persuade new customers to place business with the company.
 Communicating new product developments to prospective clients.
 Develop and lead a project teams and control project schedule, cost, and performance risks to ensure objectives are met.
 Overseeing the development of marketing literature.
 Act as interface to manage the client demands along with the internal department’s pressures, building strong client relationships
 Develop creative ideas for marketing and special promotional material.
 Knowledgeable of local suppliers and dealing with government authorities.
Lead the scoping, planning, cost estimating, and pricing of consulting projects.

ACADEMICS | QUALIFICATIONS | SKILLS | EXPERIENCE

A. ACADEMICS | EDUCATION
 A relevant Arts, Media, Advertising or similar Degree holder from a recognized institution.

B. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
 Progressive and proven work experience of 3-5 years in the creative field, with exposure to sales and business development
 Good understanding of media, trends, tools, creative advertising, target audience classifications
 Knowledge of large format printers will be an advantage.
 Exposure to working with intercultural business environments.
 Strong professional and clear communication skills along with ability to network and build strong relationships.
 Demonstrated technological competence, including the ability to research, e-networking, understand, capitalize upon and enhance information systems. Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite with advanced Word/Excel skills, and relevant accounting/financial software;
 Fluent in English and Kiswahili, both verbal and written.
 Strong ability to effectively negotiate with, communicate with and influence various stakeholder groups, leadership, suppliers and vendors in the market.

 Must have dynamic, credible personality with diplomatic communication skills to elicit good rapport and support.
