BANCASSURANCE MANAGER

Job title: BancAssurance Manager 
Location: Dar es Salaam 
Reporting to: Director of Corporate Banking 
Client: Bank 

Purpose of the position 
Responsible for the business development and execution of Bancassurance business strategies in Tanzania
 
Responsibilities & duties 

 Spearhead the growth and profitability of Banc assurance business in Tanzania.
 Achieve set targets on the brands developed
 Build, train and motivate bank sales staff to achieve set out targets
 Set up tracking and monitoring system for business production.
 Develop product pipeline for execution in line with the bank’s strategy.
 Design and develop innovative insurance brands for effective cross selling in liaison with business units and business partners.
 Ensure effective and efficient management of new business and/or renewal processes, premium payment arrangements and delivery of policy contracts to clients within agreed
timelines
 Maintain customer relationship with key business partners in the bank and in the Insurance Industry.
 Ensure the brand training activities are undertaken to meet current business strategy.
 Negotiate binder schemes with insurance companies that favour bank/ customer interests

Academic qualifications 

Essential Desirable
 Bachelor Degree in Insurance related
degree or equivalent
Master’s degree Professional Qualification
i.e ACI
