Our Client is seeking an experienced CLUSTER BRANCH MANAGER to manage and oversee all aspects of assigned Branch financial targets, operations at the branch level, business development, compliance, and governance activities. The Cluster Head for Northern Zone will be looking after the 3 Arusha Branches, 2 Branches in Moshi, 1 Branch in Babati and 1 Branch in Karatu. The position is based in Arusha, Tanzania.

Meet the defined Cluster’s Retail and SME Financial Targets within established product programs through the branches & teams, and ensure clients receive service with excellence.
In concert with Central Operations Unit to operate and maintain a smooth running and operationally efficient branches, which conform to the financial institutions and BOT regulations, the Bank’s internal policies, rules and guidelines.
VISION:
Be constantly updated and knowledgeable on market, sector and technological trends and developments for the coming years.
Propose and/or implement innovative ideas to enhance products, structures and solutions.
Involvement in the implementation of key client service programs.
Responsible for completing the goals set by management.
COMPANY ADVOCACY
Promote an environment founded on the Bank’s values of integrity, respect and fairness.
Participate in community affairs to increase the bank's visibility and enhance new and existing business opportunities.
Act as an advocate for the Bank in all dealings with members and staff and present a professional image in all dealings with the public including appropriate dress standards, helpfulness and friendliness.

ACADEMICS | QUALIFICATIONS | SKILLS | EXPERIENCE
A. ACADEMICS | EDUCATION
Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field.
Certification in Project Management would be an asset.
Masters’ Degree would be a definite advantage.
B. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES
A minimum of 8 years of experience in the banking Industry of which at least 4 years should be in a managerial role with an exposure to Sales/Business Development.
Work experience and/or qualifications demonstrating awareness of the broad business/banking products, challenges, market, etc.
Customer/User service driven.
Exposure to developing, observing, promoting and adhering to corporate internal reporting systems, processes and procedures.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, in English and Kiswahili, with demonstrated ability to get buy-in and influence decisions;
Demonstrated technological competence, including the ability to research, e-networking, understand, capitalize upon and enhance information systems. Strong computer skills in MS
Office Suite with advanced Word/Excel skills, and relevant accounting/financial software;
Ability to develop, plan, execute and implement according to corporate and project plan strategies
Flexibility to respond to extended working hours to ensure accessibility and timely response.
