Reports to: Regional Supplies & Transport Officer
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Driving and maintaining the Company vehicles as per Company instructions, traffic rules and regulations.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•Operation of the assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
•Keep the assigned vehicle(s) clean inside and outside;
•Records all routes in a log book in order to monitor fuel consumption,
•Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on trip sheets, transportation forms, vehicle maintenance, incident reports, accident reports, vehicle condition reports and other records that are requested by management;
•Perform minor maintenance tasks on assigned vehicle(s) as required;
•Fuel the assigned vehicle(s);
•Coordinate the schedule for major or periodic vehicle maintenance with management and staff to minimize service interruptions.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•Form IV/VI Secondary school Academic Certificates
•Driving License Class C, C1, C2, C3 and EÂ
•Certificate of competence from recognized institutes (NIT/VETA) will be an added advantage.
•3 years of working experience
REMUNERATION
An attractive compensation package based on performance and consummate with the responsibility will apply to the successful candidates. All positions terms of employment are performance based unspecified period of time
