Brief introduction:
Tasakhtaa Hospital (A Turky Group of Companies) www.turkysgroup.co.tz is a newly multi- specialty hospital that started its operations in April 2015 with the aim of providing quality healthcare services to the people of Zanzibar and its environ. It is composed of a team of professionals that is diversified with different backgrounds and origins all over the world. The 120 bed capacity hospital with a state of the world class hospital equipment’s, instruments and machine is currently the best hospital in Zanzibar with a well-equipped laboratory. Indeed the best laboratory in Zanzibar being managed by super qualified personnel. The management of the hospital and the entire employees are very friendly and professional giving you a room for as an individual to showcase and practice your profession in an atmosphere full of growth. Due to our expansion and high demands of clientele and the love to serve the nation as a whole through provision of quality healthcare we are looking for Deputy Medical Officers
The major responsibilities for the Medical Officers would include but not limited to:
1. Serving as the medical officer of the service line and effectively managing daily clinical operations by assuring the quality, availability, and appropriateness of clinical services in concert with the mission and goal of Tasakhtaa Hospital, Zanzibar.
2. Smooth function of OPD
3. Management of patients in MICU, ICCU
4. Protocols for supportive life functions.
5. Attending emergencies.
6. Establish clinical pathway and marketing strategies for the department.
7. Infection control measures in wards, PICU, NICU.
8. Develop measures to evaluate the outcomes of related Department activities
9. Reporting requirements, Document requirement, Equipment requirements
10. Attending trainings provided and organized by the hospital management.
11. Conduct and participate in CME’s to increase awareness of the unit.
12. Ensuring smooth functioning of the department and the overall maintenance of hospital reputations and professionalism.
13. Experience at least 3 years practical experience. Those who are fresh from the universities and are ready to work under our senior doctors are encouraged to apply too.
