Job title: Distribution Manager

Responsibilities & duties
 Supervise the Provincial Distribution Department including:
o supervising and planning Logistics Officer (LO) activities including receiving, warehousing, and transporting systems from headquarters and to service points and customers
o providing support and feedback for development of new training and procedural manuals
o facilitating the Distribution team to develop and document best practices
 Take responsibility for the protection and distribution of company assets by:
o complying with national warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
o managing inventory and ensuring inventory levels are controlled by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system
o safeguarding warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
o maintaining physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
o refining and implementing transportation strategy; supporting logistics officers in improvement of transportation methods and negotiation of transport contracts
o overseeing service point site selection, setup, and painting; and service point owner relationships
 Support the Regional Manager to build the provincial team and operations, while creating a fun, hard-working, and results-oriented environment.
 Provide leadership in coordinating between provincial and national departments by facilitating strong inter-departmental communication, developing tools for collaboration between departments, and planning staffing according to department needs.
 Lead quality assurance processes including field evaluations, audits and up-trainings of service points.
 Follow financial and reporting policies, complete time sheets, project forms, financial forms and other administrative duties as required to fulfill the position.

Academic qualifications
Essential
 Bachelors degree in a relevant field

Work experience & skills
Essential
 4 years of management work experience
 2+ years of direct supervisory experience
● Experience working in a high-pressure work setting
● Desire to coach and mentor others
● Willingness to work a variety of hours as business demands, including late nights, weekends, and holidays
