Job Title: Human Resources and Legal officer-1POST
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Reports to: Managing Director
1. OVERALL OBJECTIVE:
Provide guidance and support to employees and management in all HR-related matters, which include staff plans and consultant selections, recruitment and selection, performance management, staff welfare, compensation and benefits administration, staff training and development, and maintenance of industrial relations.
2. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITY
• Staff Welfare & Motivation policies
• Appraisals & Increments
• Employees and office services contract renewals
• Payroll Administration(NSSF registration , Advances, Loan administration and upload of monthly pay slips)
• Assist management team with staffing plans and consultant selections. Ensure that planned HR activities are coordinated across Petromark Africa limited.
• Coordinate recruitment activities such as advert placement, long list and shortlist development, interview coordination, candidate background/security checks, salary negotiations, employee and consultant contract/agreement development, and preparation of new employee or consultant orientation materials.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive human resources program in the areas of employee relations, benefits and welfare administration, and policies and procedures
• Identifying noncompliance of organization policies and regulations and Issuance of letter’s and notices.
• Employee and Labor Relation
• Ensure all employees are aware of organization’s HR policies
• Routine Administration & supervision of admin staff
• Insurance of office and administration of medical issues for employees
• Ensure harmonious relation among employees and management
• Coordinate employee relations initiatives, including new employees’ orientation, exit interviews, etc., and provide guidance and counseling to staff on HR related issues.
