IT FIELD TECHNICIAN
Job Description:
Responsible for: IT and Technical Operational control; Hardware and software functionality for the company.
Job Responsibilities:
Daily reporting of machine problems.
Daily reporting of site performance statistics.
IT systems updates and liaison with suppliers.
Program updating with software suppliers.
Computer network maintenance and control.
All sites computer equipment peripherals installation.
Installation and configuration of necessary software and peripherals.
Complete necessary installations in new sites.
Comply with rules and regulations.
Other Duties:
Website design
Fingerprint control
Any reasonable request that may be required by management from time to time.

General operating security including key control and power outages
Due to the serious nature of casino business, personnel must always be alert to potential risks of frauds, thefts and damages. Cash money and valuables belonging to the Company must always be secured within their designated place. Keys must always be kept under the control of the authorized person and not left lying around. Unauthorised persons must not be allowed into the cash desk and doors securing cash desk areas must be kept closed. Doors securing server areas must also be locked. As soon as the electrical current fails, the correct procedures must be followed to ensure that there are no overloads to the circuits when the generator is started. Overloads at start up or “spikes” can cause serious damage to electronic equipment.
Use of Company’s power, fuel and water consumption
All utilities, electric, gas, fuel and water are expensive commodities. Personnel have a duty of reasonable care to ensure that the usage of such utilities is kept to the required minimum without wastage. Any supply point that is leaking or faulty should be reported immediately. At closing time, all unnecessary light and power sources should be switched off.
Use and care of Company’s vehicles, whether as driver or passenger
Company vehicles are valuable assets which are needed every working day to carry out Company business activities. In this regard, their operational effectiveness must be maintained at the highest level. Drivers have a responsibility to drive efficiently at all times without causing undue wear and tear to their vehicle. Passengers must also ensure they are observing all safety rules, especially not distracting the driver’s attention.
The Company’s buildings, equipment, machinery and all other assets
All Company buildings and their contents have a considerable worth which is known as their asset value. In order to protect this value all employees, regardless of their status, have a responsibility to ensure that no damages, breakages, thefts or accidents occur. Also in this measure, special attention must be paid to sensitive electronic equipment, i.e. Gaming machines and computers that need the extra protection of a surge protector, voltage regulator or other devices.
Confidentiality, data protection and non-disclosure of information to third parties
Specifically for the safety of all staff; the confidential nature of our business practice dictates that every employee has a duty to ensure that Company information, including statistics, revenues, data and records are protected and not disclosed, copied or sent to any other person or third party. This measure also includes the confidential nature of passwords, log-in details and key holders names.
Code of conduct, personal hygiene, attendance and time-keeping
All employees should be aware that the Company operates its business supported by a code of conduct governing all aspects of their working conditions and expected behavior whilst at work. At the time of joining the Company, all employees should make themselves aware of their scheduled hours of work and the Company rules and regulations presently in place and of any additional changes that may occur later. All employees should firstly address any issues concerning their work to their immediate supervisor. In the event of a dispute with their supervisor, the issue should then be raised with a line Manager.
