MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Tanzania International Container Terminal Services Limited (TICTS) is a member of Hutchison Port Holdings Group (HPH) of Hong Kong. Hutching Port Holdings (HPH ), a subsidiary of the multinational conglomerate CK Hutchison Holdings Limited (CK Hutchison), is the world's leading port investor, developer and operator. The HPH network of port operations comprises 319 berths in 52 ports, spanning 26 countries throughout Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, the Americas and Australia. Over the years, HPH has expanded internationally into the logistics, transportation related and hotel businesses.
These include cruise ship terminals, airport and hotel operations, distribution centres, rail services and ship repair facilities. In 2014 the HPH port network handled a combined throughput of 82.9 million TEU worldwide.
We are seeking applications from suitably qualified, motivated individuals to fill the following positions in our Engineering Department.
Mechanical Engineer (1 POSITION)
Generally the candidate will be responsible to provide optimization design reviews, manufacture, mechanical components including specify, fabricate, drafting, procurement specifications, and erect various mechanical structures.
Qualification and skills level
This occupation has a level of education and skills to enable the candidate perform assigned tasks in accordance with TICTS working standards.
The following are the minimum requirements
BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering.
RFCA
Analytical mind, statistics, probability and logistics
Advance training in maintenance Management
Flexible
Ability to work under pressure
Computer application
Highest level of integrity and ethics compliance,
The applicant must have at least five (5) years of working experience In similar field
